Antonio Fini from the Martha Graham School offers an introductory class on Mondays for ballet dancers and aspiring modern dancers. Classes are 5:45 -7:45 and are open to all dancers 12 & older. This class will focus on technique, body conditioning and movement. Perfect for the aspiring college dancer as well as professional dancer. Call 631-271-4626 to arrange free trial class. Parents will not accompany their child into the tea-party, but may wait in the

lobby of the school.

Tickets will be collected and all are eligible for the door prize.

Female students of Les Petits Danseurs and Huntington Ballet Academy must wear regulation dress code uniform with hair secured in a tidy ballet bun and they may invite a friend of similar age— sorry, no siblings.

Children visiting the school as guests should wear appropriate dance attire.

Performing Arts Camp for ages 3-9 starts July 12

Spend the summer at The Center experiencing all the performing arts plus arts & crafts, music appreciation, dance history and stage craft. Two – week sessions feature dance ( tap, jazz, ballet or creative movement), musical theater(singing & acting), Suzuki violin, piano and cello. Traditional string lessons also available. A performance is presented at the end of each session.

Registration materials will be published by March 1, 2010.

Long Island Ballet Theatre (LIBT) Artistic Director, Christopher Fleming has invited the students of HBA to dance in this star studded evening featuring Daniel Ulbricht, principal dancer of NYC Ballet. Dancers age 6 & up will appear in excerpts from LIBT’s spring production of Alice in Wonderland. Opening the evening’s program will be scenes from the Who’s rock opera, TOMMY.
