Huntington Ballet Academy is proud to participate in American Ballet Theatre’s Plie Project at area Boys and Girls Clubs

Huntington Center for the Performing Arts’ Ballet Academy is a participant in the annual American Ballet Theatre (ABT) Project Plié Master Class Series. Project Plié was founded by ABT in 2013 with the goal of increasing racial and ethnic diversity in classical Ballet. Huntington Center faculty member, Jae Young Jung, is an ABT National Training Curriculum Certified Instructor and a Project Plié Partner Teacher. She conducts the master classes in the Long Island community at both the Boys and Girls Club of Oyster Bay—East Norwich and the Glen Cove Boys and Girls Club at Lincoln House.

The classes serve to expose children to classical ballet through a fun, movement-based experience and to connect children with promise and potential for dance with an ABT Certified Instructor in their community.
