ADULT ACTING PROGRAM OFFERED BY THE AMERICAN ART THEATRE ACTORS WORKSHOP

The Huntington Center for Performing Arts has expanded its class offerings into the art of acting through The American Art Theatre Actors Workshop (established 1995). American Art Theatre offers acting classes for the aspiring actor and the professional.
Each session is 8 weeks long and features the study of various acting techniques such as Stanislavsky, The Group Theatre and the Actors Studio(Method Acting). Sessions are offered in Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Classes also cover sense memory, improvisation, scene study, script interpretation and script analysis.
Classes are taught by Founder/Artistic Director Rick Imberman,associate of The Actors Studio, graduate of N.Y.U.’s Tisch School of the Arts,Student of Lee Strasberg, Bobby Lewis,Stella Adler and David Mamet.
Summer session begins June 16, 2008.
