Welcome to the Huntington Ballet Academy

The Huntington Ballet Academy offers 6 levels of ballet training designed to develop each dancer according to their ability following a specific curriculum. Whether the goal is to dance professionally, gain acceptance to a prestigious university or conservatory or attain a level of excellence - the academy provides the dancer with challenge and proficiency at each level in which they study.

In addition to the Academy the school offers open classes for children as young as 3 years through adult in creative movement, pre-ballet, ballet, jazz and musical theater (including voice).

The Academy features a distinguished faculty consisting of Karen Lynch formerly with Pacific Northwest Ballet as well as former principal dancer with Kansas City Ballet, Mary Lundy, a respected dance educator for over 25 years specializing in early ballet training( ages 7-12), certified Pilates instructor for over 20 years and founder of North Shore Pilates, Emily SoRelle, principal dancer with Rebecca Kelly Ballet and Connecticut Ballet , Jeanette Lagone, trained at School of American Ballet, teaching for over 20 years, specializing in the very young dancer (ages 3-6) and Ian Thatcher, formerly of Pacific Northwest Ballet and presently dancing with The Metropolitan Opera Ballet.
